Full Dye Sublimation

What is Sublimation Printing?

It is the process of transferring dye to a desired length of fabric with the use of heat. The graphics are printed onto a special paper and then printed on the garment, allowing the ink to become a part of the fabric. Leaving you with a more breathable, soft feel to the fabric. The best part is that the numbers, letters, and graphics do not peel, chip, or come out in the wash!

The magic of the process lies within printing technology. All the design elements, including the team logos, colors, and numbers, become a part of the fabric once they are infused directly. With no chance of the colors or logos from peeling or fading from a sublimated jersey.

Steps of Sublimation Printing:

1: Sublimation dyes are loaded into the printer. The colors are usually in the CMYK color space.

2: Graphics are printed onto the transfer paper, ensuring no limitations to colors and designs.

3: Heat is applied to transfer the ink to the fabric to undergo the sublimation process.

4: Ink is being fused into the fabric pores.

5: Then the garment panels are cut from the reels of the fabric.

6: The panels are sewn, pieced together, and turned into a fantastic sublimated sportswear product.

Advantages of Sublimation Printing:

1: Unlimited colors with no added cost.

2: Produces vibrant colors, making it perfect for photographic images.

3: Ability to create complex designs that can go anywhere on any layout of your choosing.

4: Sublimation print will NOT crack, peel, or fade.

What is Screen Printing?

We utilize thick inks that lay on top of the fabric rather than seeping into it while screen-printing. Screen printing was once the only viable option for producing large quantities of personalized t-shirts and hoodies.
